MIDORIGreen Advance DNA/RNA stain for in gel or poststaining. It is a safe alternative to the traditional nucleic acid stain ethidium bromide. It is a non-carcinogenic and less mutagenic dye for detecting dsDNA, ssDNA and RNA in agarose gels with a very high sensitivity. MIDORIGreen Advance can be visualised with UV light or the innovative Blue/Green LED technology.
MIDORIGreen Advance is optimised for a brighter signal when excited by UV or blue/green light to result in an excellent noise-to-signal ratio. Even with a dilution factor as high as 1:25000, you will be able to visualise small DNA fragments. Hence, 4-6µL are enough for the staining of 100mL agarose gel, translating to 17 to 25L of stained agarose gels per vial of MIDORI Green. MIDORIGreen Advance was subjected to multiple safety tests including the Ames test, acute oral toxicity test, and latex and nitrile gloves penetration test, and have been shown to be safe.
