OptiGene
Phytophthora kernoviae LAMP Assay Mastermix - 50rxns
Log in for pricing
The Phytophthora kernoviae Assay Mastermix (PK-P.Kernoviae-050W) is designed to simplify the preparation of an isothermal amplification assay (LAMP). The master mix contains a proprietary fast, novel DNA polymerase, proprietary thermostable inorganic pyrophosphatase, optimised reaction buffer, MgSO4, dNTPs, ds-DNA binding dye (FAM detection channel) and separate optimised primers.
The GENIE detection system developed and manufactured by OptiGene allows real-time LAMP to be performed on a low-power portable platform, suitable for use in the field. The closed-tube nature of GENIE avoids any post-amplification handling thereby eliminating laboratory contamination with the amplified product.
This sudden oak death pathogen is known to infect over 130 plant species. Symptoms vary depending on the plant species affected. The disease cannot be identified based on field symptoms alone.
Current status of Phytophthora in Australia - Burgess et al 2025
Diagnosis of the disease can be difficult as symptoms for Phytophthora ramorum and Phytophthora kernoviae can be very similar.
Stability:
The Isothermal Mastermix wet reagents are stable for a minimum of twelve months when stored at -20ºC.
Supplied Reagents:
1 vial containing 50rxn isothermal mastermix
1 vial containing 50rxn of Phytophthora kernoviae FOLIAR primer mix
